- Research and educational programs for post-graduate training include the orthopedic fellowship program and primary care sports medicine fellowship with the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI).
- Lemak Health and Youth Sports of the Americas have integral alignments with and outreach through the National Center for Sports Safety and Alabama Sports Foundation.

Together, Youth Sports of the Americas and the LakePoint Sporting Community will provide a positive and healthy environment for all kids to enjoy sports – to have fun, learn sports skills and rules of the game, compete and develop as capable and confident young athletes at any level of athletic success. We will help them to be good citizens of the game and community, healthy and fit, while fostering inclusive, sustainable, healthy, safe and enjoyable youth sports participation and optimal athletic performance and achievement.
